Richmond City Council votes to take ownership of Diamond

The Richmond City Council voted unanimously Monday to authorize the city to take ownership of The Diamond baseball stadium from the Richmond Metropolitan Authority at the end of this year, a move that will allow the city to retake control of land it gave up for the ballpark in 1984. Link
